PropSheet v2.5

Although the original PropSheet program predates the Property Manager that's now included with Solid Edge, PropSheet still has a several useful features didn't make it into Property Manager.

Features like the built-in part viewer make part identification much easier for large assemblies. Especially if your part filenames aren't particularly descriptive.

In addition to standard and custom part properties, PropSheet lets you display (and set) part densities in either metric or english units. If you've ever tried to get the mass of a large assembly, you're probably aware of why this is such a useful feature. Forgetting to set an appropriate density for just one of the parts in a large assembly could mean large amounts of wasted time searching for that one rogue part. By displaying all part densities in PropSheet, you'll instantly know where the problem is.

New in version 2.5:

  • An improved spreadsheet-style interface is easier to navigate and read.
  • By default, only parts whose properties you've edited will be written to. This means faster save times and it also avoids making unedited parts "out-of-date".
  • Released and/or read-only part files will now be displayed in the spreadsheet, but will be highlighted as non-editable.
  • PropSheet can be linked to an existing ODBC database. A link to your company's ERP database could allow you to "automatically" fill out part properties for purchased/stocked parts. NOTE:This feature is limited and requires an understanding of SQL and ODBC to be implemented. Send us an email for more details.

This shareware version will run for 30 days -- after the demo period you must register the program if you wish to continue using it.
